Are Videogame DLCs Going Too Far?

It's really wild how gaming companies are reporting record breaking profits yet, laying off workers, closing down studios, all while attempting to squeeze every cent out of their customer base. I hope things change soon. While there are many great examples of DLC, there are many aspects of the practice that are not good and are borderline predatory.
